Mindfulness at Work

Mindful fishing

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime

The model uses the sport trout fishing (flyfishing) in the lakes of South Argentina as a way for each participant, and the group he or she belongs, to generate the resources needed for guidance and orientation in improving decision making processes at work and in any environment of life. It is not only about fishing; fishing is a metaphor for life. It is about the use of consciousness of full awareness (mindfulness) to discover what nature has to say about taking opportunity, problem solving, or decision making in our organizations and in our lives.

To achieve this, Mindful Fishing combines, in a new and revolutionary way, millenary and modern techniques with outdoor activities and team work in the paradisiac lakes in the south of Argentina, reaching amazing results.

Mindful Fishing develops a sacramental point of view and thought that make things turn transparent, in a way that allows us to receive the messages they hide. It is a mind opening experience. All that is real is a sign, the routine is full of symbols, of signs and messages. To use the universal intelligence in our favor, we only need to realize and know how to decipher the messages.

Benefits:

Dedication to important problem solving as well as to taking opportunity through the application of the necessary knowledge that decision making demands, making it more efficient, more humane, ethical and sustainable.

In short, we have combined spiritual and business paths, models and techniques and applied to working and common life problems, making ordinary activities became extraordinary.

It is not another workshop in another conference room.

Whoever lives this experience not only will work more efficiently but will take a model and tools to develop a special view of success and of things which will maintain wonder throughout the daily life and will serve as an inexhaustible source of good energy and inspiration.

Mindfulness at Work

Mindful Cooking

Man shall not live by bread alone. The art of seeing in cooking multiple metaphors for life.
Have you ever thought about cooking as a metaphor to extract applicable lessons to other areas of life?

It was a very rich experience, innovative and that unexpectedly awakened an important set of reflections that enrich me as a person and as a professional. Max Helman, SABADELL

Did you know that when we take a distance from our routine activities we may rediscover what you see in the day to day?

Through an activity aside from information technology it is possible to recreate and live a group work. With all that entails inter relations, communication, collaboration and attitude to take forward the given objective. Isabel Puig, DLYA

Do you know how capable we are to relate different experiences and see beyond the obvious?

Enriching experience from which a fun group activity you may learn from different themes (cooking, group exercises, group work); understand concepts of group activity in a fun way; gain a deeper view of work from the experience. Estefanía Sena, DLYA

Mindful Cooking is a model that takes use of cooking and food as means to allow each participant, and the group he or she belongs, to generate the resource needed for guidance and orientation in improving decision making processes at work and in any environment of life.

It is not only about cooking; cooking, in this case, is a metaphor for life in general and for work. It is about using the consciousness of full awareness (mindfulness) to discover that these activities have to tell us about taking opportunity, solving problems, or making decisions in our organizations and in our lives.

For such purposes, Mindful Cooking combines, in a new way, millenary and modern techniques with cooking and tasting activities from which spring their unique results.

This work proposal satisfies the human craving for spirituality with earthly and practical activities, and with glamour. Paths, models and spiritual techniques are applied to work related problems and to day to day life. We provide real solutions to the problem in the level where the problem lies.

Benefits of the workshop:
At completion of Mindful Cooking, the participants will:
  • Acquire a tool from the professional environment that is applicable to different areas of the personal and working life.
  • Understand the value of seeing symbols and signs detecting their meanings in routine activities.
  • Identify the importance of developing a profound view in the moment of observing and analyzing what is happening in the interaction with the different participants of the team, as well as the reflections in personal level.
  • Detect the contribution that each person makes in terms of aptitude, behavior, and attitude, and his or her importance to reach the determined objectives.
  • Enjoy the awakening to real live.
